Firing Pin Replacement

If your gun has a consistent misfire without an impression being left in the primer on the cartridge itself, this is a clear indication the firing pin is damaged or has broken entirely.

Other symptoms can include an intermittent misfire caused by a broken firing pin that remains in the action, this can be identified as the firing pin does not return into the action after firing.

A pitted firing pin (see last image) combined with a weak main springs will also result in a misfire.

Remedial Work
In all cases the stock has to be removed from the action and once apart the firing pin can be accessed and replaced.

All of our replacement firing pin are made with 316 stainless steel and crafted on our own CNC machines to guarantee quality and performance.

Our standard service has an expected turnaround time of between four and six weeks, however we understand you may already have pre-booked shooting dates and depending on our work load, for a small extra charge, we may be able to fast track your order by taking advantage of our while-you-wait service.  Please give us a call to discuss your individual needs beforehand.
